Software shaped around how you already work

42 ITS Ltd builds business applications for small and mid-sized companies — the systems that run the day to day. Not a package you bend your business to fit, but something built around the way the work is actually done.

42ai.uk is where those systems are hosted.

What we build

Usually one system with several sections rather than separate products, because the parts of a business are not separate either.

Stock control

What is held, what it is worth, what has gone out and to whom. Including the awkward stock that does not fit a simple count.

Jobs and scheduling

Work raised, planned and tracked through to completion, with the materials and the people that went into it recorded against it.

Timesheets and holiday

Hours booked against real jobs rather than guessed at afterwards, and leave requested and approved in the same place.

Customer records

Who your customers are, their sites, and the history of what has been supplied to each of them.

Reporting

The figures the business is actually run on, worked out from the records rather than re-keyed into a spreadsheet each month.

Getting off spreadsheets

Years of history in a workbook, moved across with the detail intact, so nothing is lost in the change.

How it works

Nothing to install

It runs in a browser, on whatever your staff already use. No software to roll out, and nothing to keep up to date on each machine.

One sign-in

Stock, jobs, hours and everything else sit behind a single login, so nobody is keeping track of four sets of details.

Your data stays yours

Everything in the system can be exported in full, at any time, in a form you can read and keep. There is no lock-in worth the name.

It can move to your own address

A system hosted here can be pointed at your own domain instead, so it sits under your name rather than ours.

Signing in

Each client's system has its own address on this domain, in the form yourcompany.42ai.uk, and needs an account we have set up for a named person. Nothing here is open to the public, and there is no self-registration.

How to tell a genuine page here from a fake one

A client's sign-in page carries that client's own name and logo. That is deliberate — the system belongs to that business and is operated on their behalf by us. It also means you should know how to check that a page really is ours.

  • You should only be signing in if your employer has set you up with an account and told you to expect it.
  • We will never send you an email, text or message with a link asking you to sign in, confirm your details or re-enter your password. If you have received one, it did not come from us.
  • We will never ask for your password by phone, by email or in person. Nobody here can read it, and nobody needs it.
  • A genuine address always ends in 42ai.uk and always begins https://. Check the address bar rather than trusting the look of the page.
  • If you were sent here unexpectedly, or anything looks wrong, do not sign in. Email support@42its.co.uk and we will tell you straight away whether it is genuine.
